Air-Filtering Plants

Unfortunately, our homes inevitably contain toxins from various sources contained in household items.  So it’s a good idea to have some natural filters like plants to help cleanse the air.  Here is a list of the top air filtering plants:

  1. Aloe Vera
  2. English Ivy (Hedera Helix)
  3. Spider Plant (Chlorophyteum Comosum)
  4. Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata – toxic to animals)
  5. Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum “Mauna Loa”)

These should be made of pure beeswax or soy to avoid benzene, toluene and other hydrocarbons
